Haitai PA46 (nylon 46) cable ties have a continuous operating temperature range of −40°C to +150°C and a time-limited high-temperature rating of +195°C for up to 500 hours. For heat-exposed automotive and industrial wiring, specify dimensions, tensile strength, temperature profile, quantity and packaging for a bulk or OEM quotation. Confirm the installation range for the selected model; the +195°C / 500-hour condition is not an unrestricted continuous operating rating.

Product Details
Haitai specifies a continuous operating temperature range of −40°C to +150°C and a time-limited high-temperature rating of +195°C for up to 500 hours for this PA46 range. The +195°C condition must not be treated as an unrestricted continuous operating temperature.
PA46, also called nylon 46, is selected for applications requiring mechanical-property retention at elevated temperatures. See Envalior’s PA46 material background for general polymer information; it is not a substitute for the Haitai finished cable tie specification.
No: installation temperature describes the conditions while the tie is bent, tightened and locked, not its later service exposure. Confirm the selected PA46 model’s installation range separately; the −40°C to +150°C operating range and +195°C / 500-hour condition do not establish an installation range.
Continuous operating temperature: −40°C to +150°C. Time-limited high-temperature rating: +195°C for up to 500 hours.
This range is PA46, also called polyamide 46 or nylon 46. Its model specifications must be checked separately from PA66, PA12 and PEEK products.
Natural and black PA46 options are listed for quotation. Confirm pieces per bag, label artwork and total quantity for the selected size.
Specification Reference
The PA46 range is specified for continuous operation from −40°C to +150°C and time-limited exposure at +195°C for up to 500 hours. Provide dimensions in mm and tensile requirements in N, and confirm the installation range separately.

These temperature values are manufacturer-confirmed Haitai product specifications. The +195°C rating is limited to an exposure duration of up to 500 hours and is not an unrestricted continuous operating rating.
Confirm the selected model, mechanical load and actual temperature profile for the application. Repeated thermal cycling and any retained tensile-strength requirement must be agreed separately; no retained-strength percentage is specified here.
Request a quotation for the exact PA46 configuration and confirm the HTS order reference, dimensions and tensile requirement before production. Dimensions are specified in mm and tensile strength in N; values for PA66, PA12 or PEEK versions must not be substituted for PA46.
A tensile test value in N is not a safe working-load rating or an installation-tool setting. Review the selected finished tie and its test conditions for the intended assembly.
Applications
Measure the temperature at the cable tie location in °C, including steady operation and peak events. Include the expected fluid exposure, vibration conditions and the vehicle customer’s requirements; the engine-compartment cable tie guide helps organize the enquiry.
Provide the bundle diameter and routing clearance in mm, together with the continuous temperature and peak duration near motors or heat-producing equipment. Confirm the finished PA46 model against the actual assembly conditions rather than relying on the material name alone.
Automotive Engine Wiring
Review PA46 for wiring routes exposed to elevated temperatures. Specify the measured temperature in °C and the harness, fluid and vibration requirements for the selected vehicle assembly.
Machinery and Power Systems
Provide the cable bundle diameter in mm and temperature profile near the equipment. Check model fit, tightening requirements and the customer’s test specification before a production order.
PA46 cable ties use polyamide 46, also called nylon 46. This is a different material from PA66, PA12 and PEEK, so the selected model needs its own dimensions, tensile specification and temperature limits.
PA46 formulations are used where mechanical-property retention at elevated temperatures matters. For a finished cable tie, compare the required temperature in °C, exposure duration and tensile requirements rather than choosing by the material name alone.
Haitai specifies a continuous operating temperature range of −40°C to +150°C for this PA46 cable tie range. The separate high-temperature rating is +195°C for up to 500 hours.
The +195°C rating is limited to an exposure duration of up to 500 hours; it is not an unrestricted continuous operating temperature. The continuous operating upper limit is +150°C, and requirements for repeated thermal cycling or retained tensile strength must be agreed for the selected application.
Confirm the installation range for the selected PA46 model and assembly conditions before ordering. The −40°C to +150°C operating range and +195°C / 500-hour condition describe service exposure, not the temperatures at which a tie can be bent, tightened and locked.
PA46 is an option to evaluate for heat-exposed engine-compartment wiring. Give the measured temperature in °C, harness layout, fluid exposure, vibration conditions and the vehicle customer’s requirements when requesting a sample.
Send the required width × length and actual bundle diameter in mm, then confirm the available PA46 configuration and exact HTS order reference in the quotation. The cable tie size chart explains the dimensions to provide; specifications for another material are not PA46 specifications.
Specify the required minimum tensile value in N, together with the test method and any conditioning or heat-exposure requirement. A tensile value is not a safe working load, a lifting capacity or an installation-tool tension setting.
No: the PA46 designation does not by itself establish outdoor UV performance or compatibility with every fluid. Identify the chemical, concentration, contact time and temperature in °C, and confirm the relevant requirements for the selected model.
Natural and black PA46 options are listed for quotation, with bag quantities and private-label requirements confirmed for the selected size. Send dimensions in mm, temperature profile, tensile requirements, quantity, destination and packaging through the product enquiry form, or see About Haitai for manufacturer information.
